About Lama Thupten Gyaltsen Dorje:
Lama Thupten Gyaltsen Dorje (Jerry Gardner) is the
resident teacher of Urgyen Samten Ling Gonpa
and has studied and practiced the Buddhadharma
for over 33 years. He was ordained as Lama in
1997 and is a master instructor of Wing Chun
Kung-Fu, Tai Chi, and Qi Gong.
- THE HEART OF PRACTICE
A continuing evening class with Lama Thupten
Dorje Gyaltsen focusing on the intermediate theory and
practice of Tibetan Buddhism for Buddhists at heart
and in training.
- On-going group practice. Public welcome.
- Mondays, 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.

- GREEN TARA PRACTICE
Green Tara is the female manifestation of past,
present, and future Buddhas. This morning practice
invokes positive energy for the health, happiness,
and prosperity of all beings.
- Open, on-going practice. Public welcome
- Tuesday and Thursday Mornings
- 7 a.m. to 8 a.m.

- MEDITATION AND WALKING MEDITATION
Enhance natural peace, clarity and awareness.
Open to anyone interested in meditation.

- INTRODUCTION TO TIBETAN BUDDHISM
Introductory course focusing on the life of
Buddha Shakyamuni and core teachings of Tibetan
Buddhism with an emphasis on study, contemplation and
practice in daily life.
- 8-week course

- 6:30 to 8:00 p.m.

Sunday Pujas
Join our Sangha for our ongoing, weekly traditional
group practice. Puja is the ceremonial practice of
awakening our natural qualities of wisdom and compassion
through prayer and recitation of mantras.
- COMPASSION PRACTICE
(Chenrezig Puja)
Increase compassion while healing oneself and others.
This practice is recited in ENGLISH.
- 9:00 - 10:00 a.m. Sundays
- MAIN PUJA PRACTICE
- On-going group practice. Public welcome
- Every Sunday
- 11 am to 1 pm
- *$5 per session suggested donation
* In Buddhist practice, one can gain merit through the practice
of generosity which includes the giving of donations.
